Julio’s Story

By: Julio

When  you  get  on  a  bull  you  feel  a lot  of  power, strength, fear, and  balance. You   have  two  minds  too:  face  the  fear  or  just  get  hurt.  Most of the bulls are mean but they can be small or big.  It feels cool  once I  get  in  the  air  by  a  bull. When  the  bull  bucks  out  of  the chute  you  can’t  hear  anything,  can’t  see  anything  but  the  bull,  feel  all   the  coldness  of the wind  that  blows off  your  hat.  I like the power  that  I  feel when I am  pulling  my  arm  down  when  I   ride  my  bulls.

I  am  going  to be a  bull rider  throughout   my  whole  career  because  it  runs  in  my  family.  Most medicine men tell me it runs  in  my  blood.   I  also  think  it should always be  my  career  because  I  know  most  ways  bulls  will   buck  just  by  looking  at  it.
