A Hero is a person that met war,

A Hero is a person I met.

A Hero who knows what war is,

A Hero is a person I know.

A Hero that saw the war,

A Hero is a person I saw.

A Hero that hugged the war,

A Hero is a person I hugged.

A Hero is brave and true,

A Hero, who’s brave and true I saw.

This Hero is brave and strong,

This Hero helps and teaches.

This Hero is a Marine Soldier,

This Hero is a Native American Warrior.

This Hero is proud and bold, and I

Am proud to have met this bold man,

This Hero is my grandpa, Joe Sr.

This grandpa is my hero.
