The Tree

By: Regina

At this special place there is a tree.  It is next to my house.  The tree is dark green color and it has no friends inside of it…except for the smelly wild berry.  The Tree is about 55 feet high from the ground. When the wind blows really hard, the noise is like a airplane singing or cars that race and babies that cry to their mother. Birds are singing to me and one time I thought that the tree said I love you ~then I fell off the tree on my butt. That hurt very bad and I yelled for my mom. The bad kids are not happy with the tree. They have to stay up there all day, all night, until in the morning. Until that time, you can’t get down from the tree. The tree is a very nice place for me. There are a lot of trees around that one tree. It sits in the middle of a river that always has a beautiful rainbow. The tree trunk is orange-yellow and it’s very smooth to climb. The branch is like a ladder and is fun going up and down. I went over there so I can think by myself. No one can pick on me. I’m the only one that knows that place well because the other kids do not want to go over there.
