Womanhood

By: Martina

This is when a girl changes into a woman. In the drawing, the girl is running East. She has to run in all directions, but East is the farthest. The people who run after her can't pass her. It takes at least 4 days. The family bakes a Navajo cake, but the girl who is having the ceremony can't eat the cake. It is really exciting to be there.
